Keep on swingin'.

Everyone hits bad shots. What matters is whether you tee it up again.

Southern Foster

Golf taught me the only lesson that's ever really mattered: you're going to hit bad shots.

Into the trees. Into the water. Off the cart path and into somebody's backyard. Nobody escapes it — not you, not me, not the guys on TV. The only question is whether you walk up, tee it up again, and swing.

I've hit plenty of bad shots. I walked away from college with no degree and no safety net. I learned business the hard way — selling life insurance and Medicare, one conversation and one "no" at a time. Most people quit after enough no's. I kept swinging.

That grind became CrediCoach. Every client we've ever had came from a referral, because when you actually help somebody get back on their feet, they tell the people they love. Fixing credit was never about numbers on a report. It's about giving someone another swing at the life they want.

Today I build from wherever my family is. We travel full-time, I homeschool my kids on the road, and we're 22 countries in. I didn't build a life around my work — I built my work around the life I wanted.

Why golf

Giving the game back.

Golf gave me a lot. But it's expensive, and too many people never get a shot at it. So I started Only Greens Club, a nonprofit that puts clubs, lessons and tee times in the hands of disabled veterans, kids, and anyone who's been priced out of the game.

In 2027 I'm chasing a Guinness World Record: a full 18-hole round in all 50 states, getting around on public transport only. Every dollar raised goes back into the game.

What I live by
01

Tee it up again.

A bad shot is one shot. It's not your round, and it's definitely not your life.

02

Earn the referral.

Do right by people and you'll never have to chase business. They'll bring it to you.

03

Build the life first.

Decide how you want to live, then build the work that pays for it. Not the other way around.

Whatever shot you just hit — keep on swingin'.
